Our Story
Maybe it's a needed perspective shift or a simple breather. We're renewed when we seek out a space to be reminded that...

...The skies won't always be grey.
...There's still growth beneath the surface in the darkest place.
...There's a big world out there to see and to savour.
True North Life was born out of years finding this refreshment and realignment through time spent outdoors here in our beautiful homeland of Northern Ireland.
Perhaps 2020 was the year we experienced this more than ever with our daily exercise becoming a constant rhythm of the uncertain times we found ourselves in.

We're here to bring a collection of tried and true accessories for all outdoor endeavours, big or small. We won't sell you something we don't already use and love ourselves.
We ensure our suppliers meet ethical working standards and our fabrics are environmentally conscious, made with REPREVE® polyester and treated with antibacterial silver salt solution so you can wear your garment more and wash less.
We're inspired by the North
Our homeland of Northern Ireland is full of areas of breathtaking natural beauty. All our patterns are uniquely inspired by these local beauty spots.
We want to give back to those who help to keep us safe as we enjoy the outdoors. Therefore, we give £1 for each transaction to a cause in line with our values. For now, this is the RNLI who work hard to keep us safe at sea here in Northern Ireland and across the UK and Ireland.

Our products are thoughtfully designed to be functional for all of life - for those epic adventures yes, but also with the simple aspects of everyday outdoor living in mind too.
Whatever stage of life, we want to cater for all. That's why we carry a one size fits most range to keep even little people cosy too. Along the way we want to encourage everyone to seek out an outdoor life however it can be found.
Hi, I'm Emma
With over 20 years in design, I've always been drawn to creating beautiful, thoughtful things that bring joy to everyday life. I believe there's something special about slowing down and noticing the world around us. Whether it's a walk along the coast, a morning in the garden, a woodland wander or simply taking a moment to appreciate the changing seasons, nature has a wonderful way of grounding us and reminding us of what matters most.
True North Life has always celebrated beauty, creativity and intentional living, and I'm honoured to continue that journey. My hope is to inspire you to create a home and life filled with warmth, meaning and the simple pleasures that often go unnoticed.
